Our pottery is high-fire stoneware. It is fired in a 40 cubic foot down draft kiln with natural gas to a temperature of 2350 degrees. |
Pangburn Pottery was founded in 1975 in the cellar of my grandmother's house. Three years later it moved to its present location in Verona, NY.

In the early days of Pangburn Pottery one single unique combination made us successful. Being a beekeeper as well as a potter, we made stoneware honey pots and filled them with our own honey. The honey was sealed in wax. A honey dipper, information sheet and tag completed the package and it was sold at a very reasonable price. |
| Pangburn Pottery has no wholesale markets, preferring to retail all the pottery at craft shows around the northeastern United States. | ![]() |
